1 · What this service is
bestplayer.lol lets you vote for footballers for free (3 votes every 24 hours) and buy paid vote packs (“boosts”). Votes add up on public scoreboards: a weekly ranking, an all-time ranking and duels between two players. That's the whole service. It's entertainment: it produces lists and scores, and nothing else.
2 · What you're buying
A boost is the immediate application of a number of votes to the player you choose. You're not buying a prize, a token, an asset, any right over the footballer's name, or any good. Paid votes are publicly labelled as paid: that transparency is part of the service and cannot be switched off.
3 · No prizes, not gambling
There is no prize, raffle, lottery, reward, payout, withdrawal or transferable value of any kind, and there won't be while the service works this way. Nothing you pay can come back to you or anyone, in money or in kind.
4 · Prices and payment
Packs are shown with their price in euros before you pay. Payment is handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your card details. Votes are applied only once payment is confirmed. If payment fails, no votes go in.
5 · Right of withdrawal and your waiver
A paid boost is a digital service we deliver immediately and in full. Under EU consumer rules you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract; for digital services delivered immediately, that right is lost if you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge losing it. That's why we ask you to tick that waiver at checkout, and we apply no boost without it. We record the exact text, language and time, and we'll give you a copy if you ask. If you're a consumer outside the EU, your local rules may differ: write to us.
6 · No refunds
Because of point 5, boosts are final and non-refundable once applied. This doesn't affect your legal rights where they can't be waived: if we don't deliver what you paid for (for example, we charge and no votes appear), write to us and we'll fix it or refund it.
7 · Free votes and limits
The free allowance (3 votes per visitor every 24 hours) is counted by session cookie, technical browser fingerprint and network address, and we apply the most restrictive one. We may discount or ignore votes cast by circumventing those limits in an automated way. Paid votes have no allowance: their limit is your card, and their trade-off is that they're shown as paid.
8 · Adding players and duels
You can add a footballer's name and team, and open duels between known players, free of charge and with daily caps. Don't add anyone who isn't a footballer, anyone under 18, offensive content, advertising or anything impersonating a real person's voice or endorsement. We can hide any entry or duel at any time, without notice and without refunding boosts already applied: the votes stay recorded, the entry just stops being shown.
9 · The footballers
The people named here are not clients, partners, participants or endorsers of this service. Names and clubs are used descriptively, as factual references. We publish no photographs, portraits, likeness imitations, crests or club logos. If you are one of the people named, or their representative, and want an entry removed, write to us and we'll remove it.
10 · No accounts
There are no accounts. Your votes and purchases are tied to a browser cookie. If you lose that cookie you lose the ability to see your own history and your free allowance counts from scratch — votes already cast stay on the boards, because they're public. We can't recover a lost session.
11 · Availability and changes
This is a small website and it can go down. We may change or end the service; if we ever shut it down, no vote or boost entitles you to claim anything. What we won't do is reorder rankings after the fact: the vote ledger is immutable, and closed duels don't get rewritten.
12 · Contact and governing law
Write to hola@bestplayer.lol. These terms are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to the consumer protections of your country of residence.
13 · The alias and the message on a boost
When you pay for a boost you can add an alias and a short message, both optional. If you do, they are published next to the amount you paid: that is what you are choosing when you write them. We screen them automatically before charging you — insults, hate speech, impersonation, links and contact details don't get through — and we can take them down afterwards if something slipped past us or if someone reports it. IMPORTANT: the boost always counts. Taking down an alias or a message does NOT cancel the boost, does not remove the votes, does not reduce the amount on the scoreboard and is not grounds for a refund, full or partial; the only thing that changes is that the boost is shown as Anonymous. If you think we took something down by mistake, write to us and we'll look at it.
